Neenah's Peter Konz drafted by Atlanta Falcons

By: Nick Goddard
Updated: April 27, 2012
Neenah native and former Wisconsin Badgers center Peter Konz was taken by the Atlanta Falcons with the #55 overall pick in the NFL Draft.

Konz, who started at center for the Badgers the past three seasons, had hoped to be drafted in the late 1st or early 2nd round, but ended up slipping to the 23rd selection in the 2nd round.

Still, there was plenty of celebrating in Neenah when Konz received his call to the NFL.  We'll have his reaction tonight on Local 5 News at 10.
