NCAA Basketball: Ohio State Punches Final Four Ticket with win over Syracuse

The Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the Syracuse Orange 77-70 on Saturday night to earn the second spot in the 2012 Final Four.
The Buckeyes, the #2 seed in the east region, were led by Jared Sullinger, who had 19 points and 7 rebounds. Lenzelle Smith, Jr. added 18 for Ohio State (31-7) who will play in the Final Four for the first time since they were the 2007 runners-up.Syracuse, the #1 seed in the east, had defeated the Wisconsin Badgers by one point on Thursday night to advance to the elite 8. The Orange wrap up the season with a record of 34-3.
Ohio State will face the winner of tomorrow's midwest regional final between North Carolina and Kansas in a the National Semifinals in New Orleans next Saturday night. You can see the Final Four on WFRV, Local 5.
