Uggla's hit came of Francisco Rodriguez, who suffered his first loss of the season. It capped off a wild offensive night, one which saw the Brewers take a 3-1 lead in the 2nd inning on back-to-back homers from Alex Gonzalez and George Kottaras.
The Braves scored 6 runs in the 5th inning, sending Brewers starter Randy Wolf out of the game. Brian McCann hit a three run homer, one of his four hits in the game.
Down 8-3, the Brewers mounted a rally. Corey Hart hit a two run double in the 6th to make it 8-5. Then in the 7th, Ryan Braun's two-run single cut the Braves' lead to one at 8-7. Two batters later, Hart hit a solo home run to tie the game at 8, leading to Uggla's game-winning hit.
The Brewers (4-4) face the Braves once again on Saturday night in Atlanta.
