One day after scoring nine runs in a victory over Colorado, the Milwaukee Brewer bats were shut down once again on Sunday.

Rockies starter Jeremy Guthrie tossed three-hit ball over seven innings, allowing just one run, and Michael Cuddyer hit a two-run double off Francisco Rodriguez in the 8th inning to lead Colorado to a 4-1 victory over the Brewers (7-9).

Yovani Gallardo got the start for Milwaukee.  He went seven innings, allowing one run on six hits while stricking out eight.

The Brewers open a series with the Houston Astros on Monday evening at 7:10.
