Greg Jennings defends his support of Peterson breaking record

Jennings was referring to Vikings RB Adrian Peterson breaking the single-season rushing record of 2,105 held by Eric Dickerson. Peterson needs to average 147 yards in the last two games to break the record, so the comment made some national headlines since AP would almost certainly have to break the record against Green Bay.
So what does Jennings think of any criticism he's received over his comments?
"Honestly, I don't care," Jennings said Wednesday. "It's one of those situations where he's playing against us the last game of the season. So if he were to get it, it would have to be against us. Do you want our defense to do that, and let him get it? No."
"But if he does get it, I'm not going to be pissed," Jennings added with a laugh. "You have to learn to appreciate what you have out there, I mean who knows if that will ever happen. Just like with Calvin (Johnson) breaking Jerry Rice's record. I want him to do it. That's just the way it is, records are meant to be broken, whether it's against you or somebody else."
Injured defensive end C.J. Wilson agreed with Jennings, saying he wants Peterson to break the record, just not in Green Bay.
"If he hasn't broken it by then, I'm sorry for him," Wilson said. "I don't want him to break it because we want to stop him and get as less yards as we can."
