Green Bay may be short on running backs Sunday

But they also are worried about their own ground game for different reasons.
Leading rusher Alex Green hasn't been cleared to practice after suffering a concussion late in the game Sunday against the Bears.
That leaves Green Bay with the recently returning Ryan Grant, explosive but inexperienced DuJuan Harris, and FB John Kuhn who missed practice as well Thursday (non-injury related).
"We'll be ready to go," Grant said Wednesday. "I will be ready to go no matter what the weather conditions and whatever my role is. You just got to be able to step up."
Harris says he isn't handling this week any differently than others since he arrived in Green Bay.
"Just do the same things you've been doing before," Harris said Thursday. "Just have to get more comfortbale with the system, and just execute. The main thing we have to do is we got to protect our QB and protect the ball."
The Packers hope to get a
boost in the backfield during the postseason with James Starks expected to return
from a bone bruise in his knee after Week 17.
"I'm doing well right now, ahead of schedule," Starks said Thursday. "All the swelling and everything is gone, so that's a positive. Just got to keep getting it stronger so I can get out there and cut how I want to, and not be slowed down in anyway."
