Leslie Spoon is thrilled to have the opportunity to cover sports in Titletown! She comes to WFRV from KTBS in her hometown of Shreveport, Louisiana, where she also served as weekend sports anchor and sports reporter.
While at KTBS, Leslie covered sports at every level. She explains the best part of her job is learning the athletes stories - everyone has a story and Leslie loves to share them with her audience. Over the years she's has had the opportunity to cover a wide variety of sports, the most memorable are the 2009 NFC Championship Game, three straight Carthage High School State football championships, the 2012 BCS National Championship and two Bassmaster Classics. With NFL experience covering the Saints and Cowboys, Leslie looks forward to actually covering an NFL team on a daily basis, especially the Packers, a team with such rich tradition!
Growing up with three brothers, Leslie has always been involved in sports. She played basketball collegiately at Georgia Southern University. If you have a story idea, please email Leslie. She looks forward to hearing from you!
