Bubba Watson wins Masters in Playoff

By: Nick Goddard
Updated: April 8, 2012
Bubba Watson made par on the second playoff hole Sunday evening to defeat Louis Oosthuizen and win his first major championship at the Masters.

Watson shot a four under par round of 68 to tie Oosthuizen, who's round of 69 was led by a double-eagle on the second hole, just the fourth in Masters history.

Both Oosthuizen and Watson had putts for birdie on the first sudden death playoff hole to win, but missed.  Oostuhuizen bogeyed the 2nd playoff hole, the par-4 10th, while Watson hit a great 2nd shot from pine straw and two-putted for the victory.
