Bucks Select North Carolina's John Henson in NBA Draft

By: Ryan Rodig
Updated: June 28, 2012
The Milwaukee Bucks selected two-time ACC Defensive Player of the Year John Henson with the 14th overall pick in the first round of the 2012 NBA Draft Thursday.

Henson, a 6'11" forward from North Carolina, averaged 13.7 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks a game during his junior season with the Tar Heels.
Henson averaged 2.56 blocks per game for his career, making him the school's all-time leader in blocked shots per game.
Henson has a 7'6" wingspan but their are concerns about his weight being at only 220 pounds, and his limited offensive skills.

The Bucks add another big man to help their defense a day after they acquired center Samuel Dalembert from Houston.

In the second round MIlwaukee selected Kentucky guard Doron Lamb, the top three point shooter in school history at 47.5%.  Lamb averaged 13.1 points a game over the past two seasons with the Wildcats.
