USHL Hockey: Gamblers defeat Sioux Falls

Green Bay (gamblershockey.com) - Over 5,507 fans witnessed the Gamblers defeat the Sioux Falls Stampede 5-1 on Friday night at the Resch Center. The Gamblers improve to 21-12-3 on the 2012-13 campaign.
Kyle Novak scored his first goal shorthanded in the first period. The Western Michigan recruit followed with a powerplay goal and an even strength goal in the third period.
Also scoring in the contest for the Gamblers were forwards Sheldon Dries and Grigory Dikushin.
Tony Kujava recorded the win with 16 saves on 17 shots on goal. The Green Bay native improves to 3-1-0.
The Gamblers are on the road Saturday, January 19th as they meet the Chicago Steel. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05pm at the Edge Ice Arena.
