Another close one

Once again, Francisco Rodriguez made the role of being the Brewers closer a high pressure situation. Milwaukee had built a 4-0 lead after the first inning on Wednesday afternoon, but the Cardinals whittled that down to 4-3 in the 9th inning.
But for the second game in a row, K-Rod took advantage of his new closer position to pitch his way out of a jam and notch his second save in as many games.
Rodriguez loaded the bases and walked in a run before getting Lance Berkman to fly out en route to a 4-3 victory over St. Louis and now the Brewers are just three games under .500.
Milwaukee is off on Thursday as they head to Cincinnati for a three game series with the Reds starting on Friday night. Marco Estrada (0-3, 4.13) faces Homer Bailey (8-6, 3.93)
