Report: Packers Deny Buccaneers Permission to Speak with TE Coach McAdoo

McAdoo, who has been on Mike McCarthy's staff in Green Bay since 2006, is a well-regarded member of the staff, and the Packers' refusal to allow him to interview for Tampa's coordinator job means he could be in line to replace Tom Clements as the team's quarterbacks coach. Clements became offensive coordinator following Joe Philbin's departure to become the Miami Dolphins' head coach.
Teams are allowed to deny other teams permission to interview assistants for other assistant coaching jobs, even if it is for a higher position than they currently hold
