This new law is supposed to crack down on voter fraud and protect the integrity of the election. The most common forms of ID include: a state drivers license .. state ID card.. passport .. military ID.. or student ID, with certain restrictions.
A couple things for voters to keep in mind; not only do they have to bring an ID, but they also need to make sure they're in the right spot.
Citywide redistricting in Sheboygan means the polling locations have changed for most voters. The city clerk says things have been running smoothly so far. And there have been no complaints from voters about either switch. We spoke with some voters who were leaving the polls and their comments were all positive.
The clerk believes there is less confusion as the city of Sheboygan had a trial run with an election in January.
