Neenah, Wis. (WFRV) -- Neenah Police have released new information on an incident involving three teenage girls.
Police say an 18 year old girl and 15 year old girl were walking in the 200 block of East Franklin Street in Neenah. They were approaching a parked vehicle.
The driver of that vehicle, a 17 year old girl, drove directly at the two girls, trying to hit them.
Both pedestrians ended up on the hood of the car, holding on to it as it drove forward.
The driver then made turns trying to cause the two girls to fall off of the hood of the car.
Police say the 15 year old girl fell to the pavement after being on the hood for less than one block. The 18 year old girl fell off after the car had accelerated and traveled more than a block.
The 15 year old girl only suffered minor injuries.
The 18 year old girl suffered more serious injuries, including head trauma. Police say her injuries are not-life threatening.
Neenah Police eventually contacted the 17 year old driver, who reported to the station hours later and is being held at the Winnebago County Jail.
She faces two counts of attempted first degree intentional homicide.
Local 5 will have reaction to the incident coming up tonight at 5, 6 and 10.
