According to the Department of Workforce Development, there are now more than 35,000 available jobs. More than 2,500 were added last week in the state.
The market is expected to continue growing with more consumer spending, employer's confidence and job seekers willing to take the open jobs.
All those factors played into the unemployment rate.
Unemployment claims hit a 4-year low of 357,000. An average of 200,000 jobs have been created over the last 9 months across the country.
There are two job fairs coming up in the Fox Cities. One at Marian University in Fond du Lac on April 17th from 11 to 3 PM. Then on April 23rd at the Oshkosh Convention Center from 10 to 2 PM.
