GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Curly's Pub at Lambeau Field was packed with fans Thursday night. It was all part of the Packer's NFL Draft Party.
"It's just a sign of the football season to come," said fan Justin Boiteau. "It's an exciting time to see which way the Packers are going to go."
Definitely the word of the day for Packer backers was defense.
"Definitely defensive help for sure," said fan Pat Gergerson. "I mean, our offense is fine."
"We really need to get another linebacker or defensive lineman to help Clay Mathews rush the pass," added Boiteau.
A group of guys from Chippewa Falls took time off work to come to Lambeau to watch the draft unfold.
"Typically we make this trip once a year," Pete Johnson said. "This is a sign of football season."
They said not only does the Packers defensive line need some help, the team also needs to make up for the loss of safety Nick Collins.
"We need to address the safety issue," commented Bergerson. "As well as we could still use another pass rusher. We're hoping good things come for the Packers so I guess we'll have to wait and see."
