Job Opening - Multi-media Journalist

WFRV-TV, the CBS affiliate in Green Bay, WI is looking for a dynamic multi-platform journalist to join the Local 5 news team.  Responsibilities include researching, writing, and presenting news content for both broadcast and web.  The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of the news gathering process:  story generation and research, interviewing, shooting, writing, and editing of news content for various newscasts. 

 Candidates should have a minimum of two (2) years experience as a multi-platform journalist in a TV newsroom; must be familiar with broadcaststyle writing and contemporary field production techniques, and must be skilled at delivering scripts/stories/newscasts on camera both in the studio and in the field; must be able to work under pressure and satisfactorily complete work by specific deadlines. Knowledge AVID iNews computer system, AVID Newscutter editing equipment and experience writing and posting web content is preferred.

 In addition to assigned schedule, hire may be asked to work nights and/or weekends, as well as "oncall" status as determined by management.
