The Brewers have had their share of one run games recently and heading into their series finale with the Marlins, Milwaukee had won three out of their last four contests under those circumstances. On Thursday afternoon their game with Miami was a pitchers duel into the 8th inning when Logan Morrison knocked home his second RBI of the game to put the Brewers down 2-0. Mike Fiers struck out nine batters through 7 1/3 innings of work, but in the ninth inning the Marlins finished off Milwaukee when former Wisconsin Timber Rattler Greg Dobbs belted a two run home run off of Jose Veras to take a 4-0 lead. Milwaukee had seven hits in the game but were shutout for the 2nd time in the last two weeks. The Brewers start a three game series on the road with the Astros to finish the first half of the season before the All-Star break. Yovani Gallardo (6-6) faces J.A. Happ (6-8)
