Brewers catcher Jonathon Lucroy played in his first game Thursday since breaking his hand in a bizarre hotel room accident in May.

Lucroy says he was reaching for a sock under his hotel room bed when his wife shifted a suitcase that fell on his right hand.

Lucroy was batting .345 for Milwaukee, and lead all of baseball with a .514 average with runners in scoring position.

Thursday he picked up where he left off going 2-3 with a double in five innings in his first rehab start.
