Packers' Walden suspended for Week 1 of Regular Season

The NFL has suspended Packers outside linebacker Erik Walden for week one of the 2012 regular season for violating the league's personal conduct policy.
The suspension stems from Walden's arrest last Thanksgiving night on domestic abuse charges, after his girlfriend was sent to the hospital following an alleged physical altercation with Walden. Those charges were later dropped, but the league still reserves the right to suspend players who violate the policy, even if they're not convicted of a crime.
Walden is still allowed to participate in training camp practices and preseason games.
