Packers get ready for Preseason Opener

Two days prior to their preseason opener, the Packers used Tuesday's practice to prepare for their opponents, the San Diego Chargers.
Younger players received the majority of the reps in the non-padded practice. The starters aren't expected to play much Thursday night, or in the case of Charles Woodson, at all. Following practice, Mike McCarthy said the amount of time 1st-stringers will play will depend on the injury status of certain players.
On offense, wide reciever Greg Jennings and left tackle Marshall Newhouse have been ruled out with concussions suffered last Friday during the Family Night scrimmage. Herb Taylor will get the start in Newhouse's place on the line.
The vibe in the locker room, and on the field, has been clear all week. It's time for the Packers to stop playing the Packers. At 7:00 on Thursday night in San Diego, they'll finally get to play someone else.
