Green Bay, Wis(WFRV)--Around 15-hundred Brown County elementary students got a jump start on school supplies today..
The Service League of Green Bay provided new clothing, sneakers and school supplies at the annual Back to School store inside Green Bay East High School.
Kids in need could also receive vision and dental screenings,.as well as a new backpack filled with required school supplies. Volunteer coordinator Cheryl Detrick tells Local Five it makes all the difference for kids not to be singled out because they don't have the necessary supplies.
The Back to School store is backed by 29 schools and public agencies in Brown County
