Badgers defeat Michigan, advances to Big Ten Tournament semifinals

By: Nick Goddard
Updated: March 15, 2013
After a cold-shooting first half, the Badgers found their offensive stride on Friday in Chicago, en route to a 68-59 win over Michigan in the quarterfinals of the Big 10 Tournament.

With the win, the Badgers advance to the semifinals tomorrow against #1 seed Indiana.  You can see that contest on Local 5 starting at 12:30.

Wisconsin (22-10) scored just 17 points in the first half of Friday's game, but a three from Traevon Jackson at the halftime buzzer helped spring the Badgers to a strong offensive second half.  They outscored the Wolvernes 51-39 in the final 20 minutes.
