Donald RobinsonDonald Robinson joined WFRV as a general assignment reporter in January 2008. Previously, Donald worked in Fort Myers, FL at WFTX, Winston-Salem, NC at WXLV, Harrisonburg, VA at WHSV and in Greenville, MS at WABG.
After earning a B.A. in Journalism from Columbia College, Donald got his start in the business in his hometown of Chicago. There he built a resum that included opportunites at the Chicago Sun-Times, Fox News Edge, United Press International, Chicago Tribune, ESPN Radio 1000, ABC News, WBBM-TV, and Fox Sports Chicago.
Donald says his most memorable moments in journalism are traveling with a handicapped baseball team from Waynesboro, VA to the White House, going tandem skydiving in Southwest Florida with a 70-year-old woman on her birthday, and covering the incredible devastation Lake Delton left behind near the Wisconsin Dells.
Now that he's in Northeast Wisconsin, Donald says he hopes he can do big things here. In other words, he wants to help you.
"I look at myself as the voice for the little guy," says Robinson. "I want to know what's important to you, and if I can help. If I can help change someone's life for the better, then I will be really happy."
So if you see Donald out and about, say hello.
