Elderly Wisconsin couple killed in semi-collision

TOWN OF BROOKLYN, Wis. (AP) -- An elderly husband and wife died when their car collided with a semi in Green Lake County. The sheriff's department says the accident involving the driver, 77-year-old Marilyn A. Farrell and 82-year-old passenger Norman F. Farrell from Green Lake happened in the Town of Brooklyn about 3 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities say preliminary indications are that the car turned onto Highway 23 and was struck by the semi. The driver of the semi, a 58-year-old Richard E. Tieman from Minnesota, was treated for injuries and released from an area hospital. Count on Channel 5 for updates in this story.
