Investigators call Sheboygan fire suspicious

SHEBOYGAN (WFRV) – Lakeshore Pallet Incorporated in the Town of Wilson in Sheboygan County has been destroyed by fire.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department was alerted to the fire by a 911 Call from a person who spotted the fire on County Highway V just before 10:30 Wednesday night.
By the time a deputy arrived on scene, the entire four building complex was fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters from 16 towns responded to the fire, and one firefighter was treated for a back injury.
While the investigation into the cause of the fire continues, one fire official says the fire is suspicious because it appeared to have started in three spots.
The Company produces wood pallets and wood pellets used in wood burning stoves.
There were four conjoined buildings on the grounds, which all contained wood materials used for making those products.
