Holiday travel fuels a return to the road

By:
Updated: November 29, -0001
Nearly 35-million Americans are expected to travel this holiday weekend, a jump from last year - with about 90 percent of folks going by car. Some experts say optimism in the economy is getting more people back out on the road, coupled with decent gas prices. Increased travel would bring a boost to the economy. Triple-A estimates that seven out of ten jobs are impacted by travel dollars as folks stay in hotels, eat in restaurants and shop along the way.
