In today's news at your desk, police say a Pulaski man brutally murdered his wife before killing himself. In other news, the state will hold a hearing to remove Ken Kratz from office at 11 a.m. at the Calumet County court house.
Police say 63-year-old Pulaski man Khay Sengkhammee murdered his 55-year-old wife, Nyia Sengkhammee last night. Pulaski Police Chief Randal Dunford says Sengkhammee was found Sunday night around 7 p.m. with severe head, neck and torso injuries at a home on E. Green Bay street.
The body of her husband was found in another room with a single gunshot wound to the head. Police are investigating this as a domestic violence case.
The hearing to remove Ken Kratz will be held at 11 a.m. at the Calumet County court house.The hearing comes after Kratz admitted to sending inappropriate text messages to a domestic violence victim, who's ex-boyfriend he was prosecuting.
Since the compliant, four more women have come forward with similar allegations.
