Engineers will be busy in the gulf this weekend putting on a new containment cap on BP's blown out well which could contain the oil as early as Monday.
It's been 81 days since oil starting gushing into the waters of the Gulf Coast. Today officials say there is a glimmer of hope with a containment well to be put in place over the weekend. An additional ship will be collection oil as well.
Meanwhile federal responders are rolling out a new tool to give crews a birds eye view of the relief efforts. A blimp will assess the damage and monitor oil slicks. Officials hope it'll help them quickly deploy skimmers where they're needed.
