Brewers Defeat Arizona 9-4, Take 2-0 Series Lead

Ryan Braun hit his first career postseason home run in the first inning, en route to his second consecutive 3-hit game in the series, to give Milwaukee the early lead.
The Diamondbacks battled back against Brewers pitcher Zack Greinke, and when Justin Upton hit a 2-run homer in the 5th, Arizona had tied the game at 4.
But the Brewers put the game away in the bottom of the 6th. Milwaukee scored five runs in the frame, thanks to a sacrifice "safety squeeze" by Jonathan Lucroy, which restulted in an Arizona error, and consecutive hits by Corey Hart, Nyjer Morgan, and Braun.
Takashi Saito pitched a scoreless 6th inning and was the winning pitcher. Latroy Hawkins, Francisco Rodriguez, and John Axford each worked 1 scoreless inning of relief as well.
The series now shifts to Arizona, with Game 3 scheduled for 8:37 PM central time in Phoenix on Tuesday night. Shaun Marcum will start for the Brewers, while Josh Collmenter will pitch for the Diamondacks. The Brewers need just one more win to advance to
