Ag Dairy Security Act

While a lot of agriculture attention is on the super committee and if they will come up with a policy plan by that November 23rd deadline, a bigger question being asked by Wisconsin producers is on the subject of the Dairy Security Act of 2011 and can we actually see change in national dairy policy.
Now even though the dairy bill has been tweaked and the proposal would now be voluntary, there are two elements of the bill getting most of the attention.
Dairy margin insurance, which Wisconsin dairy interests seem to support, and the market stabilization or supply-management provision which they do not.
