Vet-a-thon Knowledge Challenge

APPLETON, Wis (WFRV) - Local kids put their brains to the test Friday (11/11) while they reflected on the service of our nation's veterans. Students at Einstein Middle School in Appleton took part in the Vet-a-thon Knowledge Challenge. Participants answered questions related to the armed forces and collected pledges for every correct answer. In total, the school has raised $6,500. The money will help send 13 World War II veterans on an Old Glory Honor Flight to Washington D.C.
