The Wisconsin Badgers continued their winning ways on Tuesday night, defeating the Penn State Nittany Lions, 52-46. Wisconsin improves to 18-5 overall and 7-3 in the Big Ten. The victory puts the Badgers in sole possession of second place with first-place Ohio State visiting the Kohl Center this Saturday.
The Badgers trailed 23-17 at halftime against PSU, but opened the second half on a 16-3 run to take a lead it would not relinquish.
Wisconsin has won six games in a row in the Big Ten for the first time since winning seven in a row during the 2007-08 season.
Jordan Taylor scored a team-high 18 points, including an 8-of-10 performance at the free throw line (7-of-7 in the second half).
Ryan Evans scored 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, while Jared Berggren had 8 points and 10 rebounds.
