The Milwaukee Brewers are now 50-16 at Miller Park in 2011, following a 3-2 victory over the Chicago Cubs on Sunday afternoon.
Zack Greinke pitched 7 2/3 strong innings for the Brewers to pick up his 13th victory of the season. Greinke also singled, stole his first career base, and scored on a two-run Corey Hart homer in the 5th inning.
John Axford allowed a solo home run in the 9th, but was able to get the final outs to pick up his 40th save. Axford is the 2nd Brewer in history to reach 40 saves in a season. That total also ties Axford with Atlanta's Craig Kimbrel for the major league lead.
The Brewers maintain a 10.5 game lead in the NL Central division over the St. Louis Cardinals, who they'll face in a three game series starting on Tuesday in Milwaukee.
