By: Nick Goddard
Updated: March 7, 2012
It wasn't pretty at times, but the Wisconsin Badgers clinched a first round bye in the Big 10 Tournament with a win over Minnesota on Tuesday night at the Kohl Center.

Game notes - courtesy UW Athletics:

Wisconsin improves to 22-8 overall and 11-6 in the Big Ten with a 52-45 win over Minnesota (17-13, 5-12) Tuesday night at the Kohl Center
With the victory, Wisconsin clinches the No. 4 seed and first-round bye in the 2012 Big Ten Tournament
The Badgers trailed by as many 10 points in the first half (23-13 with 3:08 left in the first half), making this the team's biggest comeback win of the season
Jordan Taylor led all scorers with 22 points, including 11-of-12 on free throws. Taylor now has 1,438 career points, passing Devin Harris (1,425) for ninth on the school's all-time scoring list
Taylor has three 20-point games on the season, two of which have come against Minnesota. He had 27 in the previous meeting this year
The 45 points scored by Minnesota was a season-low. Wisconsin has held 15 teams to its season-low this year
