Badgers Fall to Michigan State in Big 10 Semifinals

Michigan State defeated Wisconsin for the third time this season Saturday afternoon, 69-52 in the Big Ten Conference Tournament semifinals.

No. 14/12 Wisconsin falls to 24-9 on the season after a 65-52 loss to No. 8/8 Michigan State (26-7) Sunday in the semifinals of the 2012 Big Ten Tournament at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis
Wisconsin held a 20-9 lead near the midway mark of the first half, but Michigan State responded with a 26-5 to close out the first half
The Badgers cut the lead to as few as six points with 12:18 to play following a 13-0 run, but would get no closer
Jordan Taylor scored a game-high 19 points, while Ryan Evans added 18 and 5 rebounds
