The NFL suspended Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Mike Neal with out pay for the team's first four games of the 2012 season for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.
Neal will be eligible to return to the Packers' active roster after that and is eligible to participate in all offseason and preseason practices and games.
The former 2nd rounder hasn't played much due to injuries in his first two seasons.
