Dekker Scores 40, hits Game-Winner as Sheboygan Lutheran wins D-5 State Title

Wisconsin Badger recruit Sam Dekker scored 40 points, including 12 in the final 50 seconds, to lead Sheboygan Lutheran past Racine Lutheran, 67-66, to win the WIAA Division 5 state basketball championship Saturday.
Dekker, who was named Mr. Basketball as the state's Player of the Year, hit a three-pointer with 2 seconds remaning to complete an incredible comeback, as Sheboygan Lutheran rallied from 8 points down with 50 seconds remaining, with Dekker outscoring Racine Lutheran 12-3 on his own.The victory marks the first WIAA state title for Sheboygan Lutheran.
