A local family is participating in the Purple Cupcake Project to raise awareness about Epilepsy.

Epilepsy is a seizure disorder. One in ten people will have a seizure in their life and one in 100 people have Epilepsy.

McKinley, a five year old from Denmark, is a person with epilepsy. Her family joined this national bake sale to help raise awareness.

Last year the fundraiser in Denmark alone sold 194 dozen cupcakes. That is why bakers are needed Sunday March 25th, to drop off purple cupcakes at Blossoms (220 Bohemia Drive, Denmark).

Then on Monday, March 26th head to Blossoms to purchase the cupcakes.

For more information contact Tammy at 920-863-3553.
