GRAND CHUTE, Wis (WFRV) - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are making major upgrades to Fox Cities Stadium. The Rattlers announced a $5,500,000 improvement project to be completed in time for the 2013 season.

The team is adding a second level behind home plate, six suites and club level seats for 250 fans. The club level will also double as banquet space for non-baseball events. Other improvements will consist of an expanded team store, expansion of two concession stands and additional restrooms. The players will get a new lounge, and expansions to the weight and training rooms.

The Rattlers will pay for the entire project with the exception of a possible $400,000 grant from the Fox Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau.
