St. Norbert hockey to join MCHA in 2013-2014

The two-time defending National Champion St. Norbert men's hockey team will have a new conference home in 2013-2014.

As first reported by the Green Bay Press-Gazette today, the Green Knights will join the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association following next season.

The move is a resul of the 5 UW system schools announcing their intention to leave the NCHA to form a WIAC hockey conference.

The MCHA is also adding St. Scholastica and will bacome a 10-team league.  A press conference is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon on the St. Norbert college campus.
