Green Bay (WFRV) Green Bay Police are investigating a hit and run that left a pedestrian critically injured.

The incident happened just before 7:30 Sunday night.

Police were called to the 1400 block of Main Street and found a 52-year-old male pedestrian that was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound.

The man sustained a serious head injury and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

Police say after the collision, the suspect vehicle fled westbound on Main Street.

Police asked residents to avoid this area for several hours--- while a reconstruction team investigated the crash.

The suspect vehicle is possibly a white colored Pontiac Grand Am or Gran Prix, and could have damage on the front of the vehicle.

If you have any information please contact  Green Bay Police  at 448-3208.
