Fr. Capriolo was a member of the clergy at Holy Family Catholic Church. He's being remembered as a compassionate pastor, dedicated to all he served in the archdiocese and beyond. We ask that his family and friends be kept in your prayers.
The Milwaukee Archdiocese released this statement today:
"I was deeply saddened and shocked to learn about the tragic accident that
took the life of Fr. Victor Capriolo last night in Fond du Lac," said Archbishop
Jerome E. Listecki. "Fr. Vic had a passion for Catholic social teaching and an
insatiable love for the Gospel. His parishioners and the people of Fond du Lac
knew him as someone who would do anything to support the poor and the
disenfranchised. We ask everyone to keep his family, friends and the
parishioners of Holy Family Parish in their prayers."
