Local Five caught up with some area delegates who will be in attendence.
Nancy Schleis and Patti Philbrick-Lnzmeyer are both from Green Bay.
The elected delegates say they're excited for a chance to meet fellow Democrats from across the country, and bring back new ideas to wisconsin.
Nancy Schleis, "We're learning different things from different communities and how they get their base to volunteer. I'm looking forward to the speakers."
Patti Philbrick-Linzmeyer, "I plan on attending caucuses: women's caucuses, ethnic caucuses, rural caucuses. Hopefully, to be able to expand and learn how to bring the rural people into the party."
The women will join two others to represent the Eighth Congressional District at the convention.
