4th Annual Captain Derek Dobogai Memorial Run/Walk

Fond du Lac, WI (WFRV)- Runners from across the area laced up their shoes to honor those who've fallen in service to our country.
It was during the 4th Annual Captain Derek Dobogai Memorial Run/Walk in Fond du Lac.
The memorial has been organized over the past few years by Captain Dobogai's parents after he was killed in action back in 2007. Besides the run-walk, people were able to win prizes and take part in a raffle.
Dobogai's parents say they're trying to honor all military members, whether they've fallen, are in active service, or are veterans.
"i mean without them, we would definitely not be able to have this event today. And always remember them and their families and never forget."
The money raised will go towards the WLA Track Fund and Wounded Warriors.
