Green Bay, Wis. - (WFRV) Area Republicans held their own event in Green Bay around the same time as Vice President Joe Biden.
Volunteers spent the afternoon calling voters and promoting Mitt Romney from the local republican headquarters.
The Wisconsin Co-Chair of Romney's Campaign, Ted Kanavas, says Governor Romney and Congressman Paul Ryan have a plan that would help the middle class, businesses and turn Wisconsin's economy around.
He says President Obama simply does not know how to create jobs.
"Progress hasn't been made," Kanvas says. "You know he's had four-years to try and lead the country and he's failed. But we've got to kind of turn him out and bring somebody in who's going to be on a different path. That's Governor Romney."
Romney will spend the next few days touring battleground states across the country.
