Appleton, Wis. (WFRV) - Firefighters are looking to collect your spare change.

The annual Fill the Boot drive began Wednesday in Appleton.

Donations benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

You still have two more days to help.

Fire crews will be at Northland Mall, and the Walmart off of Calumet

"We serve the communty so we do what we can to give something back to it," Scott Pelkin of the Appleton Fire Department says.  "Anything we can do here or there to make things better for the citizens of appleton thats what we are here to do."

Last year Fill the Boot efforts around the nation netted around $29 million for the MDA.
