Appleton, Wis.(WFRV)- Appleton Police  have arrested Rodney Schreiber Jr., a 41 year-old Appleton man, for allegedly embezzling more than $20,000 from a youth baseball program.

Police tell Local Five that the theft was reported by the Fox Valley Youth Baseball League Board of Directors, where Schreiber was the treasurer.  Schreiber was taken in to custody on September 4th and was later released on a $25,000 signature bond.

According to police, Schreiber told detectives he took the money because of a gambling addiction.
