Milwaukee, Wis. (WFRV) - Governor Scott Walker is back home today after a surprise visit with our troops.

Walker went to Kosovo this week and met with members of the Wisconsin National Guard who are serving there.

Walker says due to security concerns, he didn't announce the visit before he left.

There are about 160 troops in Kosovo who are toward the end of a year-long deployment.

Some recently returned home.
