GREEN BAY, Wisc. (WFRV) An overnight crash has claimed the life of a 20-year-old man.
The accident happened just outside the entrance to Aurora Baycare Hospital on Green Bay's eastside. A vehicle, traveling eastbound on Greenbrier Road at a high rate of speed, failed to negotiate a slight curve in the road. The vehicle struck a utility pole then overturned, ejecting the two occupants.
A 20-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene. A 19-year-old male was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Greenbrier Road in the area of Hubble Drive is currently closed while a team of investigators look into the incident. Motorists should plan an alternate route this morning as the road will be closed until at least 7am.
